Thankyou for visiting my website. This is a collection of various art & projects I’ve completed. You’ll also see preliminary sketches for illustrations. The examples aren’t in any specific order or grouping, yet random as are the kind of projects I create are. They vary in type of art forms and medium. Most of the examples are completed freelance & studio work.
About me: I started drawing when I was old enough to pick up a crayon. Throughout high school, I was the Artist for many school functions and literary publishings and created on my own. In college I studied Fine Arts, concentrating in Printmaking, Painting and Drawing at Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, where I concentrated in Painting and Drawing. The art that I create ranges in mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor and latex paints, conte’ crayon, pastel, colored pencil, graphite, charcoal & ink. I’ve also utilized various printmaking methods including lithography, silkscreen printing, etching & woodcut printing to create with. Nonconventional and found objects including feathers, tar, wood, glass and plastics have been used to create mixed medium paintings and combined with drawings.
I’ve participated and helped organize various group exhibits and my own solo exhibits from Rochester,NY to an Exchange Exhibit in Shegyang, China and Albany,NY to The Neptune Arts & Crafts Show at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
I have hand painted murals from 40 foot scaffolding to on my hands and knees designing and hand painting custom floor cloths and at the drawing easel to designing and painting theater backdrops and props. I paint or draw on surfaces as diverse as handmade paper to concrete floors and slick metal surfaces to 100 year old brick walls and more.
Today I continue to create as a Freelance Artist in my studio illustrating, painting & drawing. I also travel to paint murals or design on site from across town or across the country. I’ve completed freelance projects from NY to Florida and Virginia to California.
