About Me

I started drawing when I was old enough to pick up a crayon. Throughout school, I was the Artist for many school functions and sketched and created on my own. In college I studied Printmaking, Painting and Drawing at Rochester Institute of Technology and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, where I concentrated in Painting and Drawing with the addition of sculptural elements. The art that I create ranges in medium including oil, acrylic, watercolor and latex paint, conte’ crayon, pastels, colored pencil, graphite, charcoal & ink. I’ve utilized various printmaking methods including lithography, silkscreen printing, etching & woodcut printing to create with. I’ve also use nonconventional mediums, such as found objects including feathers, tar, wood and broken glass and plastics.

I’ve participated and helped organize various group shows and my own solo exhibits from Rochester Institute of Technology to an Exchange Exhibit in Shegyang, China and from Albany,NY & Vermont to The Neptune Arts & Crafts Show at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

I have painted murals from 40 foot scaffolding to on my hands and knees designing and hand painting custom floor cloths and from the artist’s easel to theater props.                       I paint or draw on surfaces as diverse as handmade paper to concrete floors and slick metal surfaces to glass to 100 year old brick walls and much more.
